Background
Sometime before the Great War, this salvage g became the home and family unit business for the Miller family unit. They were non fools, seeing the worsening global situation they congenital a shelter among the refuse. However this shelter was faulty, its generator that pumped in make clean air would periodically break down causing the door to become airtight. Mr. Miller idea that he had finally stock-still the generator before the nuclear Armageddon, unfortunately he didn't. In their desperate situation he circulate a distress signal, however no 1 would pick it up. The signal was too weak, as the local relay tower was disengaged. His children would died before their parents, he and his wife buried them among the dug out niche structure. They and then suffocated in each others artillery on the bedroll.
Sometime subsequently, this location would exist built upwards. Eventually becoming a raider encampment. Yet, super mutants would later slaughter these raiders and have the salvage k for themselves.[1]
Layout
The relieve 1000, upon discovery, is seen to have been under heavy reconstruction as it inverse through owners, eventually making the place into a heavily defensible location, with watchtowers and bridges crisscrossing the junk piles, and giving the inhabitants a height advantage over any possible interlopers. On the ground level, in the junk and near the main house, a cooking station can be plant still in use, nigh an enclosed pit which the super mutants are at present using to hold their mutant hounds and victims. Traveling along the salvage yard's still intact argue, once tin can discover and use a circuit breaker, which is connected to a nearby bulldozer that is acting as the settlement'due south primary gate; however, the circuit breaker is no longer existence powered, and must exist powered on again by traveling to one of the nearby watchtowers.
